What a day.
I hardly slept last night. Not because I was doing something useful, but because I drank coffee too late in the day. I stayed up till, 2:30am reading “Plague of the Dead: The Morningstar Strain” and thinking, “God I’m going to be tired tomorrow.” Spot on, I woke up at about 5:00am, snoozed a bit, got up for real at 7:15am and then proceeded to drag around all day long.
I topped the day off by losing my squash match. Grumble, grumble,… My whole goal this month is to stay in the box I’m in. I just moved up and I don’t want to fall back next month. (As if this weren’t already and aside, my sports club has a bunch of folks who play squash. We’re organized into ‘boxes’, A, B, C, …, where A is the best.) I just moved into C and I’m getting my clock cleaned. The boxes are really competitive this month. Whatever the case, I just want to hang on. I don’t need to advance (yet), just hang on…
So, where was I? Oh, yeah, I was going to say (eventually) that because of all of the prior stuff, today (tonight really) is a day off from productive work for me. No TD research advancements will happen tonight.
Instead, I will sit here, type up this post, watch the latest installment of Justified on Hulu, drink a Lemon-Lime w/ Gin, and mess with my site’s theme settings for a bit.
So, don’t be surprised if this site is looking a bit odd tonight. I’ll be adjusting for a bit and then go back to the current theme (Slight update. The theme seems to be working fine as is, so I’m leaving it on. I’m not done (by far) tweaking it, but this is OK for now.) Yeah, I should probably do all of this offline, but I’m just not set up for that…
