Roaming Gamer – Make A Game Series

Back in February, I asked a question to the GarageGame.com community, “What would you ask for?” I got a lot of answers. You can see the blog for the full list of answers, but one of the top answers/requests could be summarized as: “Make X Game Guide”.

Since that revalation, I have been busily engaged in fulfilling the request. At this time, I am working on what I am tenuosly calling the “Roaming Gamer – Make a Game Series”. The first two installations in the series are:

Make a Shooter with TGB (80%) – A complete coverage of what it takes to make single player shooters using TGB. This guide will include documentation, content, prototyping art, and several completed examples.

Make an RPG with TGB (25%) – A complete coverage of what it takes to make single player role playing game using TGB. This guide will include documentation, content, prototyping art, and several completed examples.

Please note: I’m currently holding off on any 3D titles because I have a limited about of time and making games with TGB is quite a bit faster than any of the 3D engines (depending on scope of course).
